Homemade spinach pasta made with whole wheat flour. Ingredients:
4 cups whole wheat flour |
4 large eggs |
10 oz spinach |
1 tbsp water |
Directions:
1. Chop spinach very fine or use food processor 2. squeeze as much water as possible from spinach 3. Beat eggs and mix with water, flour and spinach until at even consistency 4. Knead dough using mixer with dough hook or my hand for 2 minutes 5. Knead by hand for 1-2 more minutes 6. Add water or flour to reach correct consistency 7. Divide dough into 8 equal balls 8. Run through pasta machine as directed |
