Whole Wheat & Soymilk Banana Pancakes

This recipe has been adapted from the Better Homes & Gardens New Cookbook, 10th edition. I prefer to use vanilla soymilk rather than the plain variety.
Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup soya milk
1 egg
1 tablespoon oil
1 mashed banana
Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients.
2. Add wet ingredients.
3. Pour onto hot griddle.
