Original recipe calls for 2 cups each all-purpose flour and ww flour and no vinegar. Ingredients:
3 cups wheat flour, whole grain |
1 cup oats |
3 tbs olive oil |
1.33 cup water, 120 - 130 f |
1 pkg dry yeast |
1 tbs honey |
1 tsp sesame seeds |
1 tsp white vinegar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 F. Grease a large baking sheet. Stir together flours. 2. Combine 1 1/2 cup mixed flours, yeast and salt. Add liquid ingredients to flour-yeast mixture and beat until smooth, about 2 minutes. 3. Add enough more flour to make moderately stiff dough. Knead 3-5 minutes or until smooth. 4. Cut into 12 pieces and roll each into a pretzel; place on greased baking sheet an sprinkle with the salt on top. 5. Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned. 6. Tip: The white vinegar helps, when using WW flour only, to make the dough fluffier. |
