Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 package dry yeast |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 cup water |
1/8 cup oil |
1 cup whole wheat flour |
1 1/3 cups unbleached flour |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
1 cup tomato sauce |
1 cup tomato paste |
1 teaspoon salt (optional) |
1/4 teaspoon oregano |
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. 2. Let stand 5 minutes Stir in oil, flours and salt with bread hooks on mixer. 3. Add about 1 cup additional unbleached flour. 4. Work into dough. 5. Grease pan and sprinkle with cornmeal Let raise 1 hour. 6. Top with Sauce and bake at 450. 7. Pizza Sauce: Saute onions in oil until onions are clear. Add remaining ingredients. 8.
