Pizza made with whole wheat dough. This makes 2 small 6 sliced pizzas. Best to make dough on rainy and or humid days. Ingredients:
3 c whole wheat flour |
1 tbs olive oil |
1 pkg yeast |
1 1/2 c water |
1 c tomato sauce |
1 c mozzarella cheese |
8 oz pepperoni |
Directions:
1. Mix 1 cup HOT water with yeast 2. Place flour and olive oil in large bowl 3. Add water/yeast mixture (you may need the other 1/2 c water but not much more) 4. Mix until it is not sticky to touch anymore and makes a nice dough ball 5. Spray with olive oil 6. Cover bowl with dish rag and let stand for 1 - 1 1/2 hours 7. Punch down dough 8. Split into 2 9. Roll each out 10. Bake each for about 5 mins at 400 11. Put toppings on the crusts and bake at 400 until all is melted... about 10 mins. |
