Lovely with coffee! Ingredients:
500 ml whole wheat flour |
30 ml sugar |
15 ml baking powder |
1 large egg, beaten |
250 ml milk |
100 g pecans, chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C. 2. In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. 3. Stir in oil, egg and milk until well combined. 4. Stir in the nuts. 5. Spoon the mixture into a greased medium loaf tin and bake at 180°C for about 45 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean when tested. 6. Serve sliced with butter. |
