healthy pancakes Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour |
2 tbsp sugar |
2 tsp baking powder |
1 egg, beaten |
1 cup skim milk |
1 tbsp cooking oil |
1/2 tsp salt |
Directions:
1. Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, and 1/2 tsp salt. 2. Combine egg, milk, and oil. Add all at once to flour mixture, stirring until blended but still slightly lumpy. 3. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto a hot, lightly-greased griddle or a heavy skillet for each pancake. 4. Cook until golden brown, turning to cook other side when pancakes have a bubbly surface and slightly dry edges. |
