Tasty whole wheat pancakes with almost no fat! Whip up the dry ingredients ahead of time and store in a airtight container so you have it whenever you get a craving for pancakes! Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour |
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar substitute |
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1 dash salt |
1 1/4 cups almond milk |
1/4 tablespoon butter |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/2 egg white |
Directions:
1. combine dry ingredients and mix well, set aside. combine remaining ingredients and add to dry mixture, stir until smooth. 2. spoon 1/4 cup batter for each pancake onto a hot nonstick griddle or nonstick skillet. Turn the pancakes when the tops are covered with bubbles and the edges look cooked. Flip cake and cook an additional minute or two. 3. Enjoy :-). |
