A healthy alternative when serving pancakes - made with whole wheat flour. Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour |
2 tablespoons sugar |
3 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
2 cups milk |
1/4 cup oil |
2 eggs |
1 pinch salt |
Directions:
1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda. 2. Beat milk, oil, and eggs together and add to dry ingredients. 3. Pour onto hot griddle or frypan and cook until top is slightly dry and firm. 4. Turn and brown the other side. 5. Serve with butter and syrup. |
