Pancakes, still not the healthiest pancake you can make but they are really tasty so this is more of a treat. Ingredients:
1/2 cup whole wheat flour |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1 tbsp butter |
1 egg white |
2/3 cup skim milk |
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 tsp olive oil |
Directions:
1. Beat egg whites to soft peaks 2. Melt the tbsp of Butter in a separate bowl then combine it with the rest of the ingredients, leave the oil to grease the pan. Then gently fold the egg whites into the pancake batter 3. To create even sized pancakes use a 1/4 cup measuring cup 4. I cooked some apple to put on top and also some cinnamon infused syrup |
