Ingredients:
1 cup milk |
1/2 cup honey |
1 egg, beaten |
2 tablespoons butter, melted |
1 cup whole wheat flour |
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour |
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Combine milk, honey, egg, and butter; beat well. 2. Sift together dry ingredients in a large bowl; add milk mixture, stirring well. 3. Spoon batter into a greased 7 1/2- x 3- x 2-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove from pan, and cool on wire rack. |
