Whole Wheat Honey Banana Bread |

I loved Honey Banana Bread, but made a few changes and this recipe is the result. Hard to tell that it is actually good for you! Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour |
1/2 cup all-purpose flour |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
3/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
4 medium bananas |
1/3 cup honey |
1/2 cup applesauce |
1 egg white |
1/2 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Mix all dry ingredients well. 2. Mash bananas and add all liquid ingredients in bowl with bananas. 3. Add wet ingredients to dry mix, and stir JUST until moistened. 4. Pour into greased loaf pan, and bake in 325°F preheated oven for 40-50 minutes. Let cool and enjoy. |
