Whole Wheat Fudge Or Atta Halwa |

A dessert easy to make and flavour full. Common in most part of India. A recipe of my friend and I made this dessert this afternoon. You can try! Ingredients:
wheat flour- 1 cup |
sugar – 2tbs |
cinnamon powder- 1/4 tsp |
cardamom powder- 1/4 tsp |
milk- 1/2 cup |
ghee or unsalted butter- 1/4 cup |
cashew nut - handful |
raisin – a few |
groundnut- a few |
bay leaf 2 |
cherry to garnish |
Directions:
1. Dissolve sugar in milk and boil it. Let it cool. 2. In a skillet roast the wheat flour in low flame till the toasty aroma fills the air. Care should be taken not to burn the flour. Keep aside. 3. Fry the cashewnuts and ground nut in ghee and keep aside. 4. Melt ghee or butter in a pan. Add the roasted flour and stir for some time. 5. Add the fried cashew , ground nut and soaked raisin. Mix it for some time. 6. When this mixture leaves the sides of the pan and starts forming bigger lump, turn off the gas. 7. Garnish with fried cashew , cherry and serve. |
