Whole Grain Cranberry Walnut Muffins

This tasty , sweet, tangy nutty muffin is our favorite Sunday morning treat. My husband is the one who makes these. Sunday mornings are just nicer when I can smell these baking all the way up the stairs.
Ingredients:
1 1/4 c. whole grain flour (we prefer prairie gold)
3/4 c. malt-o-meal hot wheat cereal (dry)
1/2 c. honey
3/4 c. milk
2 t. veg. oil
1 egg
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
3/4 c. chopped cranberries
1 t. chinese five spice powder
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
2. In a large bowl combine all ingredients
3. Stir till moistened
4. Fill greased muffin tins 3/4 full
5. Bake 18 to 20 min. till done
