This is a great tasting treat for those staying away from bad carbs. Ingredients:
2/3 cup smart balance butter spread |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup skim milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup artificial sweetener |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats |
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour |
1 cup dried cherries |
1 cup pecans, chopped |
Directions:
1. Combine butter spread, eggs, milk, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, baking powder, sugar and sweetner together with a mixer. Slowly add oats and flour until combined. Cherries and pecans can then be added and mixed in well. 2. Bake in 350 degree F oven for 10 minutes on cookie sheets sprayed with cooking spray. |
