A fine condiment for roast poultry or pork. Boiled Cranberry Sauce, simple and easy but, oh so necessary! Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1 cup water |
3 cups whole cranberries; washed and picked |
Directions:
1. Wash, drain, and pick over the cranberries and reserve until needed. 2. Stir the sugar into the boiling water over medium heat. Stirring until the sugar is dissolved. 3. Add the cranberries and return to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 4. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature; pour into a covered dish and then refrigerate until needed. |
