Ingredients:
5 cups sugar |
4 cups water |
3 quarts cranberries |
Directions:
1. Boil sugar and water together in a 6 quart or larger pot for 5 minutes. 2. Add cranberries. 3. Boil, without stirring until skins burst. 4. Ladle boiling hot mixture into clean, hot jars, leaving 1/2 inch head space. 5. Seal. 6. Process in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes at altitudes up to 1000 feet. 7. Any higher and you must adjust processing times. 8. This recipe makes ABOUT 6 pints. |
