A sophisticated tasting glaze that you can use to seal your cake (like a crumb coat) or use over cakes instead of a frosting. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1/4 cup water |
1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup white wine |
Directions:
1. ombine the above ingredients in a haevy, medium sized sauce pan (for this I love my saucier pan). 2. Bring almost to a boil and then turn down the heat to low. 3. Cook for another 5 minutes. 4. Let cool to about room temperature and then pour over cake (try it when the cake is still hot for best results). |
