Found this recipe in a book I was reading and it sounds interesting; don't remember the book. Have not made it yet, but will soon and wanted to make sure I have the recipe saved. Maybe someone else will give it a try also Ingredients:
2 cups water |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
2 tablespoons coconut milk (optional) |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup white rice |
Directions:
1. In saucepan over medium heat bring water, oil and coconut milk to a boil. 2. Add salt and rice, reduce heat to low and cook covered until water absorbed, about 25 minutes. |
