This fruity-spicy beverage is even better when made two days ahead. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1 cup boiling water |
2 (750 ml) bottles dry white wine |
3/4 cup brandy |
1/2 cup orange liqueur |
1 cup fresh orange juice |
3 white peaches cut into wedges and halved |
3 oranges, sliced |
2 lemons, sliced |
3 granny smith apples, sliced and quartered |
1 cup fresh blueberries |
4 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks |
12 whole cloves |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar and boiling water in a 4-quart container, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add wine and remaining ingredients. Cover and chill at least 8 hours. Remove cinnamon and cloves; serve over ice. |
