WHITE CHOCOLATE WALNUT DECADENT SALTINES This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Thomason Estate in Wylie, Texas in 1992. Ingredients:
24 saltine crackers |
1 cup light brown sugar |
1/2 cup unsalted butter |
6 ounces white chocolate chips |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Lay saltines side by side on a cookie sheet. 2. Heat brown sugar and butter until dissolved then pour over saltines. 3. Bake at 450 for 5 minutes then cover with chocolate chips and spread. 4. Sprinkle with almonds and allow to sit at room temperature for at least an hour. |
