this is an easy candy to make...I haven't made it yet...but it's on my list to make for my Mother...who loves maple fudge...the recipe is from Family Circle Christmas book Ingredients:
2 pkgs (11-ounces) premium white chocolate pieces |
1/3 cups half-and-half |
1/2 teasp. maple extract |
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts... i will add a little more |
Directions:
1. line a 10 - 7-inch baking pan with foil. 2. coat the foil lightly with a nonstick vegetable cooking spray 3. melt chocolate in the top of a double boiler over hot, not boiling water 4. stir the chocolate constantly until melted 5. add half-and-half 6. stir until the mixture is smooth and glossy 7. (it may look like it separated at first that's OK...keep stirring and it will come together) 8. put 1 generous cup of the melted chocolate in a separate container add the maple extract and the nuts... 9. alternately spoon white chocolate and the maple mixture into the pan swirling with a knife 10. refrigerate until set about 2 -4 hours 11. cut into 24 squares 12. refrigerate for up to 1 month |
