Easy, rich, and tasty. Great comfort food. Ingredients:
3 (14 ounce) cans white beans |
1 (10 ounce) can chicken breasts or 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken |
8 ounces cream cheese or 8 ounces philadelphia cooking cream |
1 cup mild salsa |
1/2 tablespoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon cumin powder |
1 (12 ounce) bag shredded mexican blend cheese |
2 -3 cups chicken broth |
Directions:
1. Place first 7 ingredients in crock pot. Add enough chicken broth to just cover. Heat until hot, 2-3 hours. Serve with hot cornbread or crusty French bread. 2. This recipe tastes great as it is, but if I have time to do a little more prep, I like to place the following optional ingredients on the table for each person to add on top of their chili:. 3. jalepeno slices. 4. sliced black olives. 5. fresh cilantro. 6. salsa. 7. sour cream. 8. shredded cheese. 9. avocado slices. |
