4 tablespoons olive oil |
6 chicken breasts |
8 garlic cloves, minced |
1 cup chopped onion |
2 (10 ounce) cans chicken broth |
4 (12 ounce) cans navy beans |
8 ounces green chilies, canned |
2 teaspoons cumin |
1 teaspoon oregano |
1 teaspoon cilantro (although much better with fresh) |
1/2 teaspoon red hot pepper |
2 teaspoons salt |
monterey jack cheese |
club crackers |
Directions:
1. Stove Top:. 2. saute first 4 until onion is clear and chicken is done. 3. heat together next 7 in a seperate pot and simmer 20 min. 4. mix in chicken and simmer 10 more minute. 5. Crock Pot:. 6. combine in crock pot and cook on low 7-9 hours high 3-4 hrs. |
