This is such a very simple white chicken chili. I have given this recipe to so many people who were so surprised with how easy it was. I serve it with shredded cheese, tortilla chips and a scoop of sour cream. It can be served plain too. The extra seasonings give it that extra, mmmphh as my daughter says. Ingredients:
3 -4 chicken breasts, -cubed |
16 ounces salsa |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1 garlic clove |
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
24 ounces white navy beans |
12 ounces chicken broth |
3/4 cup colby |
3/4 cup monterey jack cheese |
sour cream |
corn chips |
Directions:
1. Add first five ingredients to crock pot and cook 6-7 hours low or 4-5 high. You don’t have to cook the chicken first for this one. About half an hour before the chili is done add the cheese and stir it inches The already shredded Monterey Jack and Colby cheese works just fine. Top the chili with a scoop of sour cream and some chips. |
