White Cheddar Scalloped Potatoes With Ham |

Soothing and yummy comfort food. Ingredients:
1 med. onion; finely chopped |
1/4c. butter; cubed |
1/4c. flour |
1t. dried parsley |
1t. salt |
1/2t. pepper |
1/2t. dried thyme |
3c. milk |
1 can cream of celery soup |
1c. sour cream |
8c. potatoes; peeled & thinly sliced |
3 &1/2c. cubed ham; cooked |
2c. white cheddar cheese; shredded |
Directions:
1. Saute onion in butter until tender. 2. Stir in next 5 ingredients. 3. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil. Cook & stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. 4. Stir in soup. 5. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream until blended. 6. In lrg. bowl combine the potatoes & ham. 7. In a greased 9x13 pan layer half of the potato mixture, cheese & white sauce. Repeat layers. 8. Cover. Bake 375F 30 min. 9. Uncover & bake 40-50 more or until potatoes are tender. |
