White Bean Spread with Sage and Lemon |

This spread is similar to hummus, but the predominant flavor is sage instead of garlic. Serve with pita wedges or French bread. Ingredients:
1 (15.5-ounce) can great northern beans, rinsed and drained |
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil |
1 tablespoon water |
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice |
3/4 teaspoon dried rubbed sage |
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt |
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor; process until smooth. Serve immediately, or cover and chill until ready to serve. |
