Cannellini beans are similar to Garbanzo Beans in that they are a great blank slate for making healthy dips. This one is fresh and yummy! Ingredients:
1 (15 ounce) can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed |
2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh squeezed |
1 tablespoon water |
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil |
1 teaspoon rosemary, stems removed |
1 teaspoon thyme leaves, stem removed |
1 teaspoon parsley, fresh chopped |
1 teaspoon garlic and red chile paste |
salt |
pepper |
chips, for serving |
Directions:
1. In a food processor, blend all ingredients. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 2. Serve with your favorite pita chips or bread. |
