had these at a church bazaar...really good Ingredients:
4 large eggs |
2 cups sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 cups flour |
1 cup melted butter |
2 teaspoons almond extract |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 cup slivered almonds |
Directions:
1. beat eggs, 2 cups sugar and salt in bowl until light. 2. add mixture of flour and butter. 3. add extract - mix well. 4. pour into greased and floured 9x13 baking dish. 5. sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and sliced almonds. 6. bake at 325* for 30 minutes. |
