I have not tried this recipe. I got this recipe from Weight Loss Surgery For Dummies. Each serving is 4ounces. Ingredients:
7 ounces albacore tuna, in a pouch |
2 tablespoons fresh dill weed, chopped, plus some |
fresh dill weed, for garnish |
1 teaspoon hot sauce |
1 teaspoon garlic, minced |
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice |
1/4 cup light sour cream |
1/4 cup light mayonnaise |
salt and pepper, to taste |
lemon wedge (for garnish) |
Directions:
1. Place the tuna, dill, hot sauce, garlic, and lemon juice in a 3 cup food processor. 2. Puree for 20 seconds. Using a rubber spatula, scraping down the sides of the bowl. 3. Add the sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper, and puree for another 30 seconds. Garnish with fresh dill and lemon wedge, and serve. 4. Tip: Store this spread in an airtight container. It will keep its freshness for 2 days. |
