These are my favorite appetizer! They're very quick, easy and good. I got the recipe out of one of those school fundraiser cookbooks. Ingredients:

                                                1 lb beef smokies |
3/4 cup chili sauce or 3/4 cup ketchup |
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
                                                1 tablespoon grated onion |
                                                2 tablespoons lemon juice |
3 ounces bourbon or 3 ounces whiskey |

                    Directions:

                                1. Mix chili sauce/ketchup, brown sugar, onion, lemon juice and whiskey in saucepan. 2. Bring to a boil. 3. Add weiners and simmer for 30 minutes. 4. These can also be put in a crock pot to simmer. |
