My kids always ask that I make a blender full of “Sour Slush” (minus the whiskey) for them before I make the adult version. Ingredients:
4 cups ice cubes |
1 cup orange juice |
6 ounces pineapple juice |
1/2 cup whiskey |
2 tablespoons sugar (superfine, if possible) |
2 teaspoons maraschino cherry juice |
maraschino cherry (optional, for garnish) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except the cherries in a blender. 2. Blend until smooth. (You may need to adjust the ice depending on your preference for consistency.) 3. Serve in tumblers with straws. Garnish with maraschino cherries. |
