This is a great way to make mashed potatoes ahead of time. Ingredients:
8 medium potatoes |
8 ounces cream cheese |
8 ounces sour cream |
1 tablespoon garlic salt |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 cup grated cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Pare and cook potatoes in salted water until tender. 2. Drain 3. Mash 4. Beat in sour cream and cream cheese until light and fluffy 5. Beat in Garlic salt and powder 6. Place in greased 2 quart casserole dish 7. Dot with butter and sprinkle with cheese 8. Bake at 350 for 1 hour |
