Just needed to have the recipe in easy reach. This is from Tate's Bake Shop. This yields 4 cups. I would half this for 2 cups. When less is needed, you could use a hand mixer right in a large measuring cup for easy clean up! Ingredients:
2 cups heavy cream |
1/4 cup sugar |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
Directions:
1. Pour the cream into a medium bowl and use an electric mixer to whip it. 2. Add the sugar and vanilla. 3. Beat it till stiff peaks just begin to form. * a lighter texture is better than one that is too stiff. |
