This is our family recipe for whipped cream. I'm surprised it's not already on Zaar. You'll want to use chilled whipping cream, and as a couple of the reviewers pointed out, chill the bowl and beaters too if possible. If you have a kitchenaide mixer, use your wire beater, not the paddle. Ingredients:
1/2 pint heavy whipping cream |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teeny tiny pinch salt |
Directions:
1. Whip until stiff. 2. Continue mixing while adding sugar in a slow stream, then vanilla and a pinch of salt. 3. For pie or shortcake topping use regular sugar, but for cake topping use powdered sugar. |
