This is low-fat for the holidays. Ingredients:
2 cups bulgur wheat |
4 cups water |
1 small onion, diced |
1 stalk celery, diced |
3/4 cup dried apricot |
1/2 cup raisins |
2 tablespoons chicken bouillon |
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning |
1/2 teaspoon sage |
3 egg whites |
Directions:
1. Bring first 9 ingredients to a boil; cover and remove from heat. Let it sit for 45 minutes until all liquid is absorbed. 2. Heat oven to 350°. 3. Mix egg whites into wheat mixture. Put in a pan and bake for 1/2 hour. |
