Wheat Free Vegan Sausages |

These flavourful sausages have a nice texture and are really healthy. Perfect for barbecues, casseroles, breakfasts etc. Feel free to experiment with herbs and different types of beans. I fyou can't find quinoa flour, try substituting a different wheat-free flour. Ingredients:
500 g black-eyed peas, mashed |
3/4 cup rolled oats |
1 1/4 cups quinoa flour |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
1/2 tablespoon olive oil |
1 1/2 tablespoons dried rosemary |
1 1/2 tablespoons dried thyme |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Mix together all ingredients until well combined. 2. Roll mixture into 8 even sausage shapes and roll in foil, twisting the ends to seal. 3. Place in a steamer, or equivalent, and steam on medium-high for 30-35 mins and then either bake, fry, barbecue etc. |
