1 medium egg |
1 cup brown rice flour |
1 cup spelt flour |
1 cup old fashioned oats |
1/2 cup molasses |
1/4 cup dark brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ginger |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 pinch nutmeg |
1 pinch cayenne pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Cream the butter, sugar, and mollases in a mixer on medium speed. 3. Reduce speed to slow. 4. Slowly add in other wet ingredients, followed by the dry ingredients. 5. Grease a cookie sheet. 6. Drop the batter by tablespoons onto the cookie sheet. 7. Bake for 10-15 minutes in the 350 degree oven. 8. Allow to the cookies to cool before removing them from the sheet. |
