A good dough,for a good filling,I really like these.Hope you do too. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups warm water |
4 teas. salt |
4 tables. vegetable shortening |
2 pkgs. yeast (dry) |
6 cups flour,about |
4 tables sugar |
filling |
large cabbage ,shredded,simmered in the 4 tables shortening |
1 pound or more,cooked,ground round |
add to cabbage and simmer till done |
Directions:
1. Add the warm water to yeast 2. Mix flour,salt,sugar together 3. Add yeast mixture 4. Work dough and place in bowl in warm place,until double in size 5. Work down and let rise again 6. Roll out dough and cut into squares 7. Place cabbage and meat mixture into each squares,fold over to seal,place on cookie sheet . 8. Bake at 400 degree for about 30 minutes. 9. Enjoy |
