This is my Aunt Eth's basic Apple Crisp. I love the topping, so I use it with all my crisps. Just squished it down to one recipe with endless variations! Ingredients:
4 cups fresh fruit or berries - whatever is in season & caught your eye. |
1 tsp cinnamon |
1/2 tsp salt |
3/4 cup rolled oats |
1/4 cup flour sifted |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup butter |
Directions:
1. Grease/butter/spray 11x6 baking dish 2. place fruit, sliced or whole depending on what it is, in baking dish 3. sprinkle with cinnamon 4. rub together, salt, flour, oats, sugar and butter. 5. drop mixture on top of fruit. 6. bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes |
