My aunt gave my mom this recipe. It is so easy and so yummy. We would have cakes or quick breads on Sunday Evenings and this was my favorite because I could help make it! Ingredients:
3 cups flour |
2 cups sugar |
6 tablespoons cocoa |
2 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
12 tablespoons salad oil |
2 tablespoon vinegar |
2 teaspoon vanilla |
2 cup cold water |
Directions:
1. In an 9x13 ungreased pan, sift all dry ingredients. 2. Make three holes. #1 hole, salad oil. #2nd hole, vinegar. #3 hole, vanilla. 3. Pour 1 cup cold water over all and mix well with a fork. 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes |
