North German hot pasta dish from Schaller & Weber. Ingredients:
1 lb tortellini |
4 ounces sweet butter |
1/4 lb westphalian ham, cut into thin strips |
1 cup heavy cream |
1 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1/2 cup fresh chives, thinly sliced |
1 package frozen peas, thawed |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Prepare tortellini according to directions on package. 2. In a sauce pan, melt butter. 3. Add ham and saute for one minute. 4. Add the rest of the ingredients, and bring to a boil. 5. Add cooked tortellini and mix well. 6. Serve immediately. |
