This recipe is great when feeding a large crowd and it is sure to be a kid favorite! Ingredients:
2 (7 1/4 ounce) boxes macaroni and cheese mix |
1/2 cup butter (not spread or tub product) |
1/2 cup milk |
1 lb ground beef |
1 large green pepper |
8 ounces sliced mushrooms |
1/2 cup onion (optional) |
10 ounces tomato soup or 10 ounces tomato sauce |
10 slices american cheese |
Directions:
1. Prepare the mac&cheese as directed on the box. 2. Brown ground beef, green peppers,mushrooms& onions - drain off grease. 3. stir prepared mac&cheese and soup together. 4. combine all ingredients in a 9x13 casserole dish. 5. single layer slices of cheese till casserole is covered. 6. Bake at 350F until cheese is melted, about 15 or 20 minutes. |
