This is a copycat recipe of the Western brand dressing. It's better than the store brand and has no high fructose corn syrup in it. Note that it makes a quart, so you could cut it in half if needed. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar or 1 cup sucanat |
1 cup canola oil |
1/2 cup cider vinegar |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/2 cup organic catsup (doesn't have high fructose) |
4 teaspoons onions, grated or 4 teaspoons dry onion flakes |
1 teaspoon garlic, minced |
1/2 teaspoon real salt |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in blender until smooth. Makes about 4 cups. |
