Western Cubed Faux Potatoes (Turnips) |

Another recipe we ate while on the low carb phase. Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter, melted |
4 ounces green chilies, chopped from a can |
2 tablespoons onions, finely chopped |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
4 medium turnips, peeled and cubed |
1/4 cup parsley, minced |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. In a large bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. 3. Add cubed turnips and toss to coat. 4. Transfer to an ungreased 2 qt baking dish. 5. Cover and bake for 40 minutes. Uncover, bake 20 minutes longer or til the turnips are tender. 6. Sprinkle with parsley. |
