A famous bread recipe from a cafe in Melbourne.
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups coconut
5 cups self-raising flour
2 cups raw sugar
1 egg
125 g melted butter
600 ml milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 tablespoon clove powder
Directions:
1. Mix all dry ingredients together and make a well.
2. Whisk eggs lightly and add to milk and butter.
3. Mix into flour mixture, dont overmix.
4. Pour into 2 greased loaf tins.
5. Bake in preheated 180 Degrees C oven for 45 minutes.
