A famous bread recipe from a cafe in Melbourne. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups coconut |
5 cups self-raising flour |
2 cups raw sugar |
1 egg |
125 g melted butter |
600 ml milk |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon cinnamon |
1/2 tablespoon clove powder |
Directions:
1. Mix all dry ingredients together and make a well. 2. Whisk eggs lightly and add to milk and butter. 3. Mix into flour mixture, dont overmix. 4. Pour into 2 greased loaf tins. 5. Bake in preheated 180 Degrees C oven for 45 minutes. |
