This recipe is from the Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond Ingredients:
1 crusty baguette |
1 cup shreded sharp cheddar cheese |
1 egg yolk |
3/4 cup dark beer |
1/2 teaspoon cayene pepper |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon paprika |
1 tablespoon dry mustard |
1/3 cup whole milk |
Directions:
1. cut baguette into slices and lay on pan. 2. brush the bread with butter. 3. toast bread under broiler for 2 minutes until lightly toasted. 4. melt 2 tablespoons butter in a pan. 5. add in equal amount of flour. 6. add in 1/3 cup whole mix. 7. pour in beer. 8. now throw in the cheese. 9. mix in spices and mix togther. 10. last whisk in egg. 11. spoon mix into toast. |
