Wedge Salad With Blue Cheese Dressing |

Fantastic salad that goes great with everything. The dressing is phenominal. Enjoy Ingredients:
1 head iceberg lettuce cut into 4 wedges rinsed and well drained |
1 cup dairy sour cream |
3 tablespoons buttermilk |
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar |
1 cup crumbled blue cheese |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
8 tablespoons crisp cooked crumbled bacon |
3/4 cup chopped tomatoes |
Directions:
1. Core lettuce head and cut into 4 wedges. 2. Rinse and drain well then pat dry. 3. For dressing mix sour cream with buttermilk and vinegar until smooth. 4. Stir in 1/2 cup crumbled cheese, salt and pepper. 5. Drizzle 1/4 of dressing over center and down sides of each lettuce wedge/ 6. Using remaining 1/2 cup blue cheese to sprinkle some over each wedge. 7. Top with a sprinkling of bacon and tomatoes then serve immediately. |
