This recipe is very good. I got it out of a Colorado cookbook, and is very easy to make. The butter can be used sparingly, and I usually use more Ritz crackers than the recipe calls for. Ingredients:
4 cups cubed cooked chicken |
1 medium chopped green pepper |
1/2 medium diced onion |
2 stalks celery, diced |
2/3 cup toasted sliced almonds |
1 cup sour cream |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1/3 cup melted butter |
1 1/2 cups crushed ritz crackers |
Directions:
1. Mix first 7 ingredients together, and pour into greased casserole. 2. Top with crushed crackers. 3. Pour melted butter evenly over crackers. 4. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. |
