Kid's and I got together to come up with our own fruity popsicle and this is our first attempt. I'm sure there are many similar and it can be changed up for adults if you know what I mean..haha Ingredients:
4 cups seedless or seeded watermelon, chunked |
6 good size strawberries, tops removed |
1/2 cup strawberry kool-aid |
4 mint leaves tore up |
1/4 cup sugar |
a few squirts of lemon |
Directions:
1. Put all in a blender, blend till liquid, pour into popsicle holders, ice trays, or even the little plastic cups your kids gather from dinner out. (leave room for freeze expansion) Add some sticks and put in freezer til frozen. 2. *note-have just made these and not sure how they will turn out....but the stuff was really tasty before we put in freezer. 3. *Update-these are very tasty, even I had one! |
